Many people with unexplained symptoms have been frustrated by a lack of answers from conventional medicine.  They worry they will never feel better and have no hope for living the life they want to live.  They want live vibrant lives, but don’t feel like they have the time or the knowledge to fix the cause of their symptoms.  Rather than hunting for fad diets or quick fix supplements, Dr. Olderog helps patients discover the cause of symptoms and sets out a path to restoration rooted in the unique physiology of your body.  

Discovery Call

The process starts with a discovery call.  During this thirty-minute call, Dr. Olderog will listen to your personal concerns and explain how the Functional Medicine approach differs from conventional medicine. By the end of this call, you will have all the information necessary to determine if pursuing a path with Dr. Olderog is right for you.  The cost of the discovery call is $25 for a 30 min call.

Foundational Assessment

The next step in the process is a foundational assessment.  This is a 90 minute appointment that explores your health history on a timeline to discover the imbalances at work in your current health.  In preparation for your appointment, you will complete an extensive health questionnaire to help understand the history of your symptoms.  You will also receive some initial lab work to start the exploration of your health at a deeper level than most people have ever received before.  This can be a great annual exam for people looking to optimize their health, or to begin the journey of addressing identified imbalances.  The foundational assessment is $499.  Advanced labs are an additional cost, and are specific to individual patient needs.

Health Restoration Membership

After exploring your personal timeline and imbalances, you can further explore areas to promote healing with a targeted plan personalized for your unique situation and physiology. This comes in the form of an annual membership with Dr. Olderog and her team that includes: 

  • Five one-hour long visits with Dr. Olderog to dive deeper into your health at a granular level 
  • Four 1 hour visits with our Health Coach to help you implement your plan
  • 10% discount on all supplements  
  • Complimentary educational offerings through the clinic.  
  • InBody scans at each of your 5 visits to assess your body composition and monitor your progress
  • Lumen device and 12 month Lumen subscription to optimize your metabolic health

The cost of the membership is $249/month with a one year commitment. Additional lab costs apply as necessary.

Cameron Olderog, MD is a board certified emergency medicine physician and a certified functional medicine practitioner through the Institute of Functional Medicine.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at UCLA in 2003.  She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2007. 

She studied Emergency Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center and served in the Army for 7 years as a flight surgeon and as emergency department physician at Fort Belvoir, VA.  

She now resides in Marshall, VA with her husband and children on their regenerative farm that raises their meat and allows for lots of exercise and fresh air for the family.  She became interested in functional medicine after knowing the limitations to address her fatigue and weight gain in conventional medicine.  She was able to change her lifestyle and see improvements in her energy and body composition and wants to offer the same help to her patients.
